The Power of Music
What would life be without music? Zurich-based music studio Spacetrain produced a music short film “An Ode to Music”. SUISA members Dean Montenegro and Dave Macloed composed the music for this production. It tells the stories of people whose lives only make sense due to the sound of music.
The film is an ode to music - it is through music that life becomes noticeable and meaningful. The film visualises and affirms the aphorism coined by Friedrich Nietzsche that “without music, life would be a mistake” in its own original way.
The protagonists are known personalities from the Swiss film and music landscape, such as the singer of the band Palko Muski or film editor and DJ Marko Strihic, and many more.
The music for the film was composed by the two Swiss film and advertising music composers and SUISA members Dean Montenegro and Dave Macloed (Spacetrain). Hans Kaufmann conceived and directed the film.
