Apply for a licence

Apply here for a licence for screenings in cinemas and at film festivals

If you are screening films in a cinema or at a film festival, you must apply for a licence to use the music in the film.

Licence fees for the music in the film

The fees are calculated based on Common Tariff E (CT E). The fee is 1.39% for authors' rights and 0.09% for neighbouring rights.

How to proceed:

Fill in the online form to apply for the right licence. You can save the form and finish filling it in later.

After checking your application, SUISA issues you an invoice. The licence is valid as soon as payment is received.

From the payment proceeds, SUISA distributes the corresponding royalties to the entitled composers, lyricists, and publishers.
